EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

Mission Statement

Imagine having at your fingertips, a practically invisible appliance which attaches to virtually any bathroom sink faucet and extends to underneath the toilet seat and is designed to provide a sanitary experience for the ultimate in personal cleansing, leaving you clean and refreshed and improving your quality of life.

Simmons Bidet Products strives to make that dream a reality with its personal hygiene solutions.

The company was founded by Norman Simmons, who is a principal and CEO of the company. Once production and marketing has begun, personnel will be hired to assist with assembling the products and filling orders.  PRICEMART GROUP, an innovative and experienced on line and infomercial marketing group, has been engaged to oversee the design and maintenance of the company’s website which will be a key marketing tool. They will also manage the SEO and PPC operations, as well as the other marketing efforts, such as telemarketing, print and conventional electronic media.

Business Location

The company will operate out of a small warehouse in Palm Beach County.  The exact location has not yet been determined, but there is flexibility in choosing a location because sales will be conducted over the internet and through telemarketing and all orders will be shipped directly to the customers.  Before marketing efforts commence, the company will move its operations into an appropriate warehouse facility.

Products

The company has developed three personal hygiene solutions: the Home & Away Bidet, the Butty System, and For Ladies Only.  The Home & Away Bidet is an American style bidet which consists of a front and rear wash (patentable) system and inconspicuously mounts onto the toilet bowl, underneath the seat, and draws its water supply from any sink faucet which is equipped with a standard aerator (approximately 95% of existing sinks).  Connecting the unit to the sink, instead of to the toilet’s plumbing like most other bidets, makes installation easy enough for anyone.  Because it attaches to the sink, the products, in addition to allowing absolute control over water pressure, gives the user the advantage of adjusting the water temperature.  Products which attach to the toilet’s plumbing only offer just a cold water rinse!  For customers, who do not have a need for both a front and rear rinse, each wash will also be sold individually.  Marketing efforts will primarily target five major market segments: hemorrhoid sufferers, the obese, the gay community, the ill and handicapped, and the aged.  Hemorrhoid sufferers will be able to benefit from cleansing with a gentle water rinse instead of abrasive toilet paper that further irritates the affected area.  The obese people can receive a convenient, better quality cleanse.  Gay customers will be able to more thoroughly clean themselves before and after sexual activity.  The ill, handicapped and the aged (arthritis, arms in casts, rotator cuff ailments, Parkinson’s disease, MS, etc) will be able to cleanse themselves, more effectively, and without assistance!

Financial Information

The company will require a $174,000 investment for start up costs, including the cost of components, molds and promotional and advertising activities, as well as for creation and SEO and PPC maintenance of a website and TV infomercial production and airing. The company will become cash flow positive by month 5.

Future Plans

Management plans to concentrate its efforts on marketing the Home &  Away Bidet,  Butty System, and For Ladies Only, but it has developed a product that it plans to introduce to the market in several years.  The next generation product is a toilet seat that has a built-in bidet.  The prototype has been designed, and the product will be marketed as an affordable, easy-to-install personal hygiene system.
